Ember is a warm woody oriental at extrait de parfum concentration — the oldest, richest form of the art. It opens quietly on purpose: cardamom cracked over light citrus, a breath before the warmth. Rose, saffron and resin carry the centre; amber, vetiver, tonka and a soft oud are what remain — the trace left on a scarf, the reason it is called Ember.
